Not to mention the historic huts, weathered snow gums, unique rock formations, and a dazzling display of wildflowers.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Find your way to Thredbo (easiest and quickest way is to drive), a picturesque ski town town in the Snowy Mountains region of New South Wales, Australia.

Meet with the trekking company's staff and guides at a ski lodge.

Check into accommodation and have some free time to explore Thredbo.

Evening meal with other trekkers.

Day 2: Preparation and Start of the Trek. Breakfast included and packed lunch supplied

Morning briefing by the trekking guides, discussing the day's itinerary and safety guidelines.

Participants have breakfast and pack their daypacks with essentials for the trek.

Travel to the starting point of the Main Track, which is usually at Thredbo Village.

Trek with the experienced guide leading the way.

Main Track Trek (13km)

The Main Track is the most common route to the summit of Mount Kosciuszko and is approximately 13 km (approx 6 hours round trip).

The trail takes participants through picturesque alpine meadows, glacial lakes, and unique rock formations.

Along the way, guides provide information about the local ecology, geology, and history of the area.

There are several rest stops and opportunities for participants to take in the breathtaking scenery.

Summiting Mount Kosciuszko

Arrive at the summit of Mount Kosciuszko, the highest point in Australia.

Participants are rewarded with panoramic views of the surrounding Snowy Mountains and beyond.

Spend some time at the summit for rest, photos, and celebration of the achievement.

After enjoying the summit, the group starts the descent back to Thredbo Village.

The return journey offers different perspectives of the landscape and is equally beautiful.

Arrive back in Thredbo in the late afternoon or early evening.

Overnight in Thredbo

Participants have the evening to relax and reflect on the day's adventure.

The trekking company will organize a group dinner (included)

Day 3: Farewell

Participants have breakfast and check out of their accommodation.

The trek comes to an end, and participants bid farewell to the guides and fellow trekkers.
